Today we discovered that practically every museum ever built in Santiago is closed. However, we also realized how collectively tired we were from the past few days and took a well earned day of leisure. I did my part by taking a 2 hour nap...wow it was heaven. We bought our bus tickets to Valparaiso tomorrow for 9am, which means we will get to the coast and into our hotel by about noon. The transportation costs for this trip have been pretty reasonable, this one is costing us only $8. Tonight we are going to try and eat all of our left over food. I will attempt to make a rice pudding with the leftover rice, sugar packets, eggs, butter, and tea for seasoning. I may have to add some Coca Cola, but we will see...I truly feel like I am on vacation right now with the sunny weather and downtime and I haven´t even made it to the beach yet!
