Um...so it's still raining. It hasn't really stopped since I got here I week ago. I asked my family if this was normal and they said that even by Valdivian standards it was a little much. Oh well, at least now that I have an umbrella. I've been watching soap operas quite a bit with my mom in the evening...that's an experience. My host dad calls them "cebollante," which means "onion-y." In other words, they are full of drama and make you cry a lot. Yet another fun word to remember. I'm hoping on a nice day to go to the coast and explore the beaches, but we'll see when that happens!

Rain Rain Go Away
