Right now I'm at the breakfast table chatting away with my host mom. She absolutely loves to sit down and talk, and I do not mind one bit. She is such a positive person, which makes the time I spend with her truly enjoyable. Ironically, in many aspects this current family is much more like my other host family than I would have thought. The parents began going out when she was 13 and he was 20. She didn't continue with her university studies because by the time she was my age she already had three kids. She has been a housewife all her life and has told me that when her husband isn't home she has a hard time sleeping. All that could easily be said about my last family, and I was convinced that it was the cause of the odd vibes I picked up on. Now however, I have an example that proves my theory wrong and as a result I am a part of a lovely household and couldn't be happier.

Yesterday I helped my friend Cachorro with his homework because his teacher gave the class 4 articles completely in English for them to read. "Supposedly" Cachorro told me, all the students in the class passed a basic English test exempting them from more English classes and deeming them qualified to read these types of articles...yeah...So, when he asked for my help I said yes of course, because the thought of being able to be of some use was quite exciting. My friend's real name is Cristopher. However, everyone calls him cachorro, which actually means puppy in Spanish. Therefore, when a cachorro came sprinting towards us and ended up in Cachorro's lap I couldn't help but take a picture...
