Tattoo

Well, I haven't been very good about writing lately, but I wanted to try and catch up a little at least. Yes, as the picture and title of this post might lead you to believe, I got a tattoo while here in Buenos Aires. I'd been thinking about getting one for a while, and had always planned to do it when I got back from South America. Then, about 2 weeks ago I realized how if I was going to get a tattoo to remember my time in South America, I might as well do it while I'm here. Then I thought that of all the places I'll be in South America, Buenos Aires would probably be the best to get a tattoo as far as selection and reliability goes. Tattoo of course take 2 solid weeks to heal, and may need touch ups so I wanted to get it about a month before I left. So, despite the sudden decision to schedule a tattoo appointment, there was actually some sane thinking involved. Yes I am happy with it. No I do not have any regrets. Yes I have thought about the fact that I will a wrinkly old lady with a tattoo on my ankle. No it did not hurt too badly. It can't be too obvious if my host family hasn't noticed it yet :)
