Well, today is the last day of the first of two month long intensive language courses, making this the official half-way point of my time Buenos Aires. I think I have accomplished a bit during four weeks of living here. Although, there I definitely some things that I didn't get around to, so I am glad to have another month to wander around this city some more. At will be sad to say goodbye to some of the wonderful people I met in my classes. Two of them live in Australia, which means that although I won't see them on a regular basis when I get back to the States, I get to make a trip out there to see them! I really want to, especially after hearing about it from their Aussie perspectives. I never really stopped missing Valdivia, so that part of me is really happy to be over the halfway mark. Knowing that I had 62 days to go until I went back to Chile was a little hard to wrap my mind around, but now that it's down to 30 or so I can divide it up into time segments that convince me that the remaining weeks will fly by. I got a lot out of that class, and even though the majority of it was review for me, it gave me permission to have confidence in what I do already know.
